- Subject: [NAFEX] Fire blight mystery
- Date: Thu, 2 Feb 2006 20:11:00 -0600
I've been meaning to ask about this ever since it happened. I read about FB
attacking sappy young growth and flowers in the spring. So why were pears
attacked by Blight here in late summer in the middle of a drought in which
nothing was growing? I think others on this list also mentioned fire blight
last fall. Any explanations? Donna
