Would you rather mean Doyenné de Juillet? Also known as Doyenne d'été (Summer Doyenne) and Roi Jolimont.
I don't have it, but I know it is generally esteemed as a very early fresh eating pear. It is also considered very hardy. There is a nice picture of it in Hedrick's Pears of New York.
Actually, this is a variety I would like to test in my orchard if I could find grafting wood...
