The Balaton, Danube and Surefire are young yet.  This year the Balaton and Danube set crops, but the cherries were eaten green by bugs.   Both are highly resistant to powdery mildew.   Both are staying small.  They branch slightly differently than Montmorencies, and may need to be trimmed up a little.  The Surefire was put on Gisela and is not doing well, but that is the rootstock.  Gisela does not survive well out here.  Will know more after next year.   I have only had them 2 years as whips.
