powder in a small puffer is sold to shoot into the borer holes. And though I know this is controversial, you can't keep peach trees forever, though there are some exceptions, the majority die as teenagers.
solution: Plant one peach tree every year.

Have never noticed borer action, and have no idea what advanced borer damage looks like. Borers?
Sun scald? Something else horrible? Tree is a goner, but would like to know how to keep this
