It's largely a nondescript shrubby thing with dark, dull green, somewhat fuzzy leaves. Nothing to really distinguish it as a great landscape plant, and I can't really imagine why someone would plant it, as such, other than as a screen along a property line.
It's on the noxious weed list in some states.
