McKay Nurseries offers a "Russian Mulberry" that they recommend for zone

haven't seen a Russian Mulberry (Morus Alba) for colder than zone 5. Are
Russian Mulberries originally from Russia? If they are, that might be a
good case for zone 3 hardiness since 98% of the former Union of Socialist
Republics lies North of the 45th parallel.
Jim,
St. Lawrence Nurseries used to offer an M.alba selection for really cold zones - with the caution that it might winter-kill back to the ground for the first few years.
