The quince has a dwarfing influence on the pear but works O.K.

Fellow Nafexers,    I think I remember reading that a pear can be grafted on quince rootstock.  I have a quince I started from seed last spring and also have more seeds I can plant if I desire.  I'm sure some of u folks are knowledgable on this subject, so is it worth the effort?
