I have a test tree, a 10 year old norcue on emla 7, that I have a number of varieties on for hardiness testing. So far the biggest suprise to me are the two branchs of Yataka-Fuji. There are several apples coming along nicely. We were gone during the cold snap this winter. It was between minus 35F and minus 45. So I say -35 for sure. I had no idea any Fuji buds could survive that. Any cold climate growers with Yataka-Fuji? How's it for ripening?
