You could get information on it from the California Rare Fruit Growers (http://www.crfg.org)   They have published articles about it in their magazine.  The CRFG doesn't have an e-list, though.  For that, you could try Leo Manuel's Rare Fruit Newsletter.  Send you inquiry to

I won't prolong this thread.  I had seen some of those websites when I searched before writing to the list.  What I was looking for was the voice of experience from US growers.  There doesn't seem to be much/any.
