Hello All,
I have grapes on an arbor, and I am curious if it makes any
difference where you take cuttings from.
The four main trunks run up the corner posts. These main
trunks produce new short, fruiting canes every season. In
addition there are seasonal fruiting canes on top of the
arbor.
Does it matter if I take cuttings (pencil thickness), 10"
long from the sides of the main vine running to the top, or
from the canopy above?
I know it is early for cuttings, just curious.
Thanks,
Tom
