Lots of coyotes here but apparently not enough. All the mammal populations
are up - raccoons, skunks, voles, mice, squirrels, deer, and rabbits. This
is due in large part to a series of mild winters with minimal snow (winter
food available). What is good for the peaches also seems to be good for the
enemies of peaches. Acorns and other native food crops are way down because
of our drought, so a big die-off is expected, Already the squirrels and
mice are moving into the house like it was the ark setting off to sea in a
heavy rain.

Missed again by the latest snowstorm here in central and northern MN. All
MN is not Minneapolis/St. Paul... yet.
