I wrote an article on resveratrol in grapes and its health attributes about
5 years ago for the Gardener's Companion newsletter, which is now not in
publication. At that time, southern grape researchers were claiming that
muscadines had the highest levels of resveratrol. There was a researcher at
the Univ. of Louisiana who studying this, and the USDA published the paper.
The resveratrol is highest in the skins and seeds, and there was (or perhaps
still is) a company that was selling muscadine jellies and jams made with a
good part of pressed seeds and skins that contained the resveratrol. If
anyone is interested, I'll see if I can unearth my interview notes for names
and phone numbers. Having moved 3 weeks ago, finding anything is a
challenge.

Yesterday, in the grocery store, I picked up a bottle of Langer grape juice
that contained added seed extract. Kind of interesting.
