If you're making a pie w/ gooseberries or
Jostaberries, do you need to remove the stem
and blossom ends?
BTW, for all the negative talk around Jostaberries
I have found them quite productive (if I make sure
I prune to the weakest growing branches) and tasty
if left to darken enough. However I don't believe
them to be as good as Currants.
