Yes, our little nursery is part of the Elizabeth City Southern Fruit meeting and we're looking forward to meeting some of our online friends in person! I think Tom's been referring to us as a "large plant nursery", probably harking back quite a while to when we were raising some wholesale quantities - we're now a much smaller (and more fun) operation.
Trust me, I will be whacking Che this winter* and we'll talk sending scion wood while you're here. I'd hoped to have ripe Che fruit for sampling but our late spring has really delayed the ripening of Che and the ripening of figs on some of the fig plants I've collected that I'd like second variety opinions on - which will make that much more difficult.
*The nicest looking tree-trained Che I've seen is up at Mike McConkey's place in Afton VA. They have a tendency to sprawl laterally and Mike's has developed a lovely single-stemmed upright form with a full head of foliage and fruit. Mine came from Mike, but may not actually be an osage graft.
