Title: Re: [NAFEX] Rhubarb from seed I've grown it from seed. Plant the seed in a row as early as you can work the soil. Space it at least two inches apart. Fertilize well and keep the plants moist. In most seed lots there will be off-types that you won't want - poor color, weak plants, etc. Remove those as early as you can. In winter, when the leaves die, dig the crowns and plant them where you want them, unless you have seeded them where you want them, anyway, then just remove or transplant the extras so the remaining crowns are about 3 feet apart. If you want a place that specializes in a great selection of rhubarb seeds, go to Seeds By Size. It's a small company in the UK run by John Size. He also has an amazing list of cabbage and other cole crops.
