Ginda,
When I lived in Delaware years ago I planted a 3 foot apricot whip. The
second year it fruited and I got a good crop of fruit every year. When I
moved after 10 years the tree was only 6 feet tall and still producing well
- never fertilized it, just kept a large mulch ring around it, on the
advice of a local farmer.
