Actually, the Sunset National Garden Book has a lot more than just 24 zones.
My
farm is in zones 33/35, and I think it goes up to 77 or so and covers most if
not all of the US. As to the South, I never did understand how Chicago could
be
in the mid-west. And really, most definitions don't even consider Oklahoma.
