Del,
This is my understanding:
Day Neutral bear regardless of day-length (thus "day neutral") This makes
them everbearing (in effect they have 3 crops per year. They didn't simply
call them Everbearing as there were strawberries already called everbearing
that effectively had two crops per year (spring & fall), and they wanted to
differentiate these.
So:
June bearers: Day-length sensitive, bear spring only
Everbearing: Day-length sensitive, bear spring and fall
Day-Neutral: Day-length insensitive, effectively bearing almost continously.
>From reading this list, etc. Day-Neutrals take a somewhat different form of
>management from regular strawberries.
Anybody welcome to chime in to correct anything I got wrong.

Hi,
I get a kick out of these "organic" alternatives.
What the heck is going to happen to soil PH when it is doused with enough
acid to kill grass and
broad leafs in 24 hours?
A chemical is a chemical whether it occurs naturally or is manmade. There
are benefits and risks
to using all of them.
Anyone interested in enjoying a nice cup of all natural, organic arsenic?
Do not be duped, or allow people to play some sort of "organic" trump card on
you. Educate
yourself and make informed decisions. This is not a black and white area.
Later,
Tom
