That depends largely on if you are trying to grow them organically or not;

In all seriousness there is not average for apples that means squat, the only
thing that matters is the average for a variety for a given
stock/scion/climate/soil combination.
So the answer is: it varies greatly.
M27 and P22 will yield about 1/4 to a 1/3 bushel for a variety that is
commercially viable in your location.
