It was written:
My Bramley Seedling was planted in Dec. '90 and was claimed to be on
Malling# 9 and was from Leuthardt Nursery.
My reply:
Uhhh...well...here is an unsolicited thought...
Before I met the fine people in NAFEX, the Lethardt nursery was about the
most helpful source I ever encountered. These fine people (at least then as
I have not spoken to them since around 1995) returned phone calls on specific
questions and went to the trouble of even sending me a couple of espalier
diagrams. They were very, very helpful.
So I suggest you simply call up Leuthardt Nursery and ask them if they grew
their own stock in 1990. If they grow their own trees they may be able to
assist in identifying it.
Regards,
the frozen bunny (shivering in wonderful South Dakota today)
