- Subject: [NAFEX] 'Crandall' currant selection
- Date: Tue, 27 Aug 2002 09:28:58 -0400
Is anyone on the lookout for Crandall seedlings or other Ribes
odoratum/aureum that are dwarf, or have more upright, stiff shoots? Birds
spread Crandall seeds and hence plants around our place, but weeping traits
in the seedlings same as the parent.
Some folks prefer not to grow Crandall for edible landscaping because of the
inferior form. Would be nice to locate superior selections.
