I have grown Crandalls for a number of years and there is almost no way to keep them from "weeping". I have used two steel fenceposts at each end ot the rows, set at an angle so that the tops are further apart than the bottoms. Attach two wires, the low wire at about 18 to 24 inches above ground and the top wire at about 36 inches. This will keep most of the canes upright, some may have to be tied or attached to the wires.
