Bud. 9 is a true dwarf or very similar to M9 in size. And it is near
impossible to say how big they'll get as it is relative to many non-genetic
influences. Your season is much shorter than mine and that reduces tree
size (less grow time each season) by 10-15% at least. We've had trees on
Bud 9 which are well over 10 years old and they are indeed similar to M9.
Here, here they'll attain a height of around 7-9' depending on variety. A
general recommended spacing is 8' each way in relatively fertile soils. If
soils are weak, reduce by one of two feet.
