To the list:

This is funny. A few minutes ago I sent a reply to Greg's message and
copied and pasted into the message the only ad I have been getting from
Yahoo--the one that comes at the bottom of the page after the signature.

But when I received the message as part of my list mail, someone or
something had eliminated the copied ad from the body of my message,
although the ad itself still appeared at the bottom.

Did Yahoo remove it because it is copyrighted and they didn't want me to
copy it?

Did my server remove it, believing it to be spam rather than just an
example that I was passing on? I don't have any filtering software, except
for my virus-checker, of course.

Now I will try to fool it by changing the wording:

First there is a line drawn identifying the following firm as a sponsor of
Yahoo Groups.
Then there is a line informing me that I can buy stock for $4.
The next line says that there are no minimums.
The next line is the name of the business--FREE Money 2002 (In case
something cuts out that name, it implies that there is money available at
no cost in the current calendar year.
The last line is the URL for a website that is carried on
Yahoo.com--probably where one can go to get that free money.

If the above six lines are cut out of this message, I'll know that the
filter is smarter than I thought.
