Hi Del,
Tried to root some cherry-plums last spring, 100% failure.
You need a misting cabinet for prunus, and use 50/50 vermiculite and
perlite.
I used a high humidity box, but that was not enough. Possibly an
ultrasonic mister (with pure water) would work inside the misting box.
I have a link for a web page somewhere. Will find it and send it later.
Timing of cuttings is important too.
