Derry's description of wickson fits mine, except it does keep and ripens
mid oct here in central illinois. It is so good eating it is my favorite
out of 50 varietys of apples we grow and I keep several bags to munch
on during the winter, make the best cider I've tasted. Very high in
sugar, about 2 inch size when thinned properly.
