After my suprise encounter with white faced (bald faced) hornets this summer
and subsequent learning of benneficial behavior, I recognize them as the
pricniple visitor to the autumn bliss blossoms now. And they are'nt
agressive a bit while picking berries, nor have I seen them eating berries
the way yellow jackets seem to. I don't notice bags of pollen on their legs
like honeybees, does this mean raspberries don't do that or they're not
pollinating?
Never thought I'd be saying kudos for hornets. Mn. del
