Title: Re: [nafex] alpricot V60031
I've thinned Japanese plums with gentle shaking.  You often have to do it more than once, though, as the remaining fruit gets larger and starts to crowd.  Shake just hard enough to get fruit to start dropping off gently.

Hello all
Our trees are just loaded with fruit, most we've seen in 20 years
Other than climbing a ladder is there any way (even chemically) of thinning the fruit?
Thanks         Bert
