Depends on how good they are and how good YOU are. A really sharp knife
helps a lot, as does the grafting method. I find that with very small
scions a good bark graft has better success than a cleft graft or whip and
tongue - you get better cambial contact and when the bark is slipping
properly, it's also active enough to heal in quickly.
