In your place I would talk to the State forestry people. they will
probably know of seed collecting contractors. The specialist
nurseries who supply the tree planters might tell you who their
suppliers are, or more likely would sell you some seed. Just be
careful of the nurseries; the level of ethics in the business is
rather variable.
