Thanks Derry for answering Jack's question. You are right about latex
with Thiram being easier to apply. Wish latex would work on Gypsy Moth
catepillars. Tanglefoot is similiar to grafting wax except it doesn't
harden when it cools. I purchased mine in a garden shop in New Jersey.
It can be used to prevent starlings from perching on un-wanted places.
It would be cruel to allow it to get on smaller song birds or kitty
