If anyone is into peach breeding there is another late peach
(although fairly, as far as I know, rare) called "Iron Mountain" that
the Amish cultivate. I have not personally seen or tasted it, but
I've read descriptions that is is greenish yellow and not
particularly attractive. But it is supposed to have good flavor and
be a good "canner". It ripens 58 days after Red Haven.

There is a nursery in Lancaster (White Oak Nursery) that offers it
(and they have been tested for Plum Pox).
