I agree, fear from bad or no experience is the cause...
I know that large show stables and almost all racing stables here in
NJ have a loading ramp...a groom always accompanies them in the back of
the van to watch the horses.... I bought a mare that was only used to
this type of transporting and what a job we had building her confidence to walk
into a trailer and getting used to seeing out(the less these horses see the
better off they are)...Would always let her see my gelding walk on etc...
This is so frightening to me...If we ever had an emergency and had to
evacuate all these horses what would
happen to them...Yes, I know they are insured, but I love my animals....not
the almighty dollar.
