- Date: Sat, 10 Jul 2010 11:58:34 -0600
I’ve looked through the archives and couldn’t
find a recent thread regarding mapping. I would like to get an idea of what software others are
using for incident mapping. A good part of our most critical response area has
very poor cell coverage so we pretty much need a desktop solution. I’m an
ArcView user, but feel we need something without the steep learning curve. The
ability to use shape files and MrSid aerial photograpy and topo maps is highly
gesired. Bruce Murdock Gem County Sheriff’s Posse Emmett, Idaho |
