The New York Times has a very good article about a two-day training session
that is conducted by the Virginia Department of Criminal Justice Services.
The VDCJS Dementia course is offered at no cost to Virginia law enforcement
agencies as well as to NGO SAR teams that hold a response MOU with the State
of Virginia Attorney General's Office.

Note: For those able to view the article's video clip of the course; look
for the TROTSAR Mounted Team's Virginia Regional Director (in gold polo
shirt) Laurie H. (Trot-28) who is one of the class participants.
