Can someone tell me where the Morgan’s are located? And who to contact in regards to adopting one?

We couldn't say enough good things about a morgan.  Calm, even tempered, solid and able to go the distance.  That's why the breed was a favorite of the early colonial doctors who made their rounds across the countryside on horse back.  Our daughter learned to ride on a morgan who served her well through many shows and pleasure rides.  Gentle and patient with riders. How many hands tall are they?  I was under the impression Morgans are not usually that light in color, but a nice cross with them would be a nice horse.  Thanks!

Two nice palomino Morgans, registered, that our rescue group is trying to save from a meat auction- if you're interested. One is 4, one 6. The mare, 6, is supposedly trained to ride and drive. $750 plus transport. Let me know if you are interested.

I think I need to start looking for a new MSAR horse. My wonderful
old mare lately has developed some health problems and signs of her
arthritis becoming severe enough that she should not be going out
anymore on our (ahem) rather technical trails. It's heartbreaking,
but on the other hand we had some great years together.
