SE PA is 45F and continued rain and fog as of 1400 on the 15th. Have not
had 48 hours of dry weather in weeks. Any rain over 2" in 24 hours will
cause total flooding as all the rivers are up to flood at this point, let
alone the smaller streams. Prediction is 2 days dry followed by a freeze.
All weather trails in the parks are reported slick or slippery, other areas
are not formally reported but probably classified as mud or sloppy.
Streets are slippery (ABS is needed).
Free choice hay, water, salt blocks in paddocks, normal or slightly reduced
feed twice a day in barn. Heavy machinery (tractors and loaders) moved off
grass pads to gravel or paving. And all the equipment started every couple
of days just in case it has to be moved out of storage. Portable pumps and
generators have been serviced as well.
