Our unit requires all riders to qualify on whatever
horse they want to use. It's a team thing. A new rider
needs to know what the new horse will do in a search
situation. The qualifying tests are designed to give
us a clue how the TEAM will react. Of course, the
regular sign-off qualifications will already by done.
