MSAR Quarter horse owners, think about the AQHA Equine Public
Service Award. Some info-bites about it:

"Announced in 2001, the American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA)
Equine Public Service Award recognizes an outstanding American
Quarter Horse that works in the public service sector (i.e.
police horse, parks mounted rangers, beach patrol, Royal Canadian
Mounted Police, border patrol, sheriff's posse, etc)."

"[T]he horse must be a living, registered American Quarter Horse
and must meet the following qualifications:
1. Received special training for their job
2. Work in a professional capacity
3. Currently utilized by the nominating organization (not retired
from service)"

See also the AQHA awards info page and nomination form:

The deadline for nomination is in June.
