Is there a website anywhere that has a sort of well
break down of:
1) the abilities the horse must have
2) the abilities the rider must have (although
reading the last few posts I am beginning to think this may vary a
bit)
3) the abilities the team must have (if there are
any above and beyond 1 and 2)
4) the equipment (obviously it is being discussed
here.. now)
5) various scenarios where MSAR is able to best
contribute
If there isn't... shouldn't there be?
Also.. while I know MSAR is new.. I can't help but
wonder at the feasibility of having a mounted rider working a SAR dog?
That way the handler has a better vantage point and can keep up with the dog
better? On the other hand, my experience is very limited at
best...
