VANCOUVER, May 10 /PRNewswire/ - International Keystone Entertainment Inc.
is pleased to announce that on April 20, 2001 it completed principal
photography on ``MVP II: Most Valuable Primate'', a sequel to the
successful ``MVP: Most Valuable Primate'' that, just after it was
released, became the No. 1 family film in Canada in the summer of 2000.
``MVP II'' sees the drafting of Jack, the hockey-playing chimpanzee, into
a professional hockey league, where he wows the fans and fellow players
with his talent on the ice becoming the most popular rookie in the league.
Soon thereafter, Jack turns his efforts into learning a new skill -
skateboarding!! After befriending a young boy who teaches Jack how to
skateboard, Jack helps the boy gain confidence and they beat out
professional skateboarders in a national skateboarding championship.
``MVP II'' stars Vancouver-born Cameron Bancroft, Richard Karn (of tv's
``Home Improvement'' fame), Oliver Muirhead, and Bobby Costanza.
Fourteen-year old Scott Goodman makes his acting debut in the role of
Jack's skateboarding mentor, Ben. Also appearing in cameo roles in ``MVP
II'' are skateboarding heroes Bob Burnquist, Alex Chalmers, 11-year old
skateboarding sensation Ryan Scheckler, and 12-year old skateboarding
wonder Lauren Perkins. ``MVP II'' was shot on location in and around
Vancouver, British Columbia.
The Company also proudly reports that ``MVP: Most Valuable Primate''
premiered as the No. 2 sell-thru movie in North America in January 2000.
The video rights for ``MVP'' were granted to Warner Brothers in the U.S.
and to Columbia Tristar in Canada, and the U.S. Pay-TV rights have been
licensed to the Disney Channel. Both ``MVP: Most Valuable Primate'' and
Keystone's, ``Air Bud: World Pup'', the second sequel in the highly
popular ``Air Bud'' film series, appeared on Video Store Magazine's top 10
in video sales for six weeks during February and March 2001. The video
rights for ``MVP II'' have been licensed to Warner Brothers in both the
United States and Canada.
International Keystone Entertainment Inc. is the premier family feature
film producer with such hits as ``Air Bud'', ``MVP'' and ``The Duke''. The
