Welcome to monkeywire, the premier source of monkey and apes news, for all
primates. This list is moderated and open to the public.
Subscribers are heartily encouraged to:
* Submit news articles to: monkeywire AT franklin.oit.unc.edu
(see below for specifications)
* Submit reviews/commentary to: annia AT monkeywire.org.
Annia Ciezadlo will edit a column comprised of commentary from monkeywire
subscribers. These will be published once a month (or so) and will include
reviews of monkey books, films, web sites, and travel destinations, as
well as personal ruminations pertaining to monkey and apes.
A FEW RULES
* When copying stories from the web, please format them so they are easy
to read. Please cite the source, including URL.
* This list is devoted to simian news and simian news only, the exception
being the monthly reviews column.
* As some have observed, the majority of primate articles on other news
services pertains to human medical issues and environmental ruin.
Monkeywire requests that contributors use restraint in posting such
articles. Monkeywire focusses on monkey nature; it is about what monkeys
do, rather than what is done to them.
THANK YOU VERY MUCH,
