Hi, Folks! I am spending this cold day surfing the web, learning about post-harvest storage for my asparagus this Spring. Extension publications from NC seem to really like putting the asparagus vertically on a wet pad inside a perforated plastic bag. I’m also reading that the putting your asparagus in a pan of water is passé as there is too much opportunity for bacteria to damage the crop. Thoughts? Thanks for your input!
