I had not noticed that the active ingredient was the same for both
Sandea and Permit. I have used Sandea on asparagus for nutsedge with
good results but have not yet used Permit. My interest in Permit came
from the need to control morning glory in annual vegetable fields.
The Permit label does list "plant back" intervals for many vegetables.
The "is.gd" link below is to the Permit label. I haven't recently
looked at a Sandea label, but I presume it has the same plant back
intervals. I don't recall the Sandea label claiming morning glory
control.
