Anyone successfully store leeks or a while? Mine quickly turn
yellow. I looked at postharvest handling sites and the best I could find was
to store at 32 under crushed ice or maybe 3 weeks. We have walkin cooler at
abou 35, and could do ice, but I want longer storage. Anyone have a good way? Alternative is to dig them up with lots o soil and hill them
in a protected area with light to keep the leaves green. Beth Spaugh http://rhomestead.com
