Don't give up that sounds pretty cheap, we had to dig a new well a few years ago and before we finally got everything hooked up with new lines, pressure pump, pressure tanks, a few new hydrants our bill was a little over 16,000.

We are on rural water. But, we are at the end of the line, so every time anyone down line from us starts using lots of water our pressure drops. On a good day I can run 14 lines, each 500' long. On a bad day, I can run 4 lines. We put valves on each individual line and that way I can open or close as needed to keep the pressure up so we get water all the way to the ends of the lines.
We just got our water bill for June 20-July 22. 1500.00 dollars. I'm ready to quit.
