We would transplant the cabbage in a staggered double row "bed" with enough space between the two rows to run the Jang Clean Seeder.  We then seeded dill and then mulched.  Between each bed of cabbage we grew a "bed" of onions grown from sets to be harvested as green onions.  Each "bed"  had a high density planting of 4 rows.

So...you simply repeat this.  Onions, Cabbage, Onions Cabbage, etc.  After we pull the onions we immediate add composted horse manure and mulched leaves let sit and then began planting beans in all beds.  I need to harvest the dill soon an allow to sit for a week or two before the last planting of beans.

We also mulched the cabbage with straw.

We lost three heads of cabbage to ants and then had hail damage to some.  We pulled a total of 25 cabbage moth worms from the plants over the period from transplant to harvest.  We also have catmint capture beds away from the plots.  All of it together seemed to work this time.

Because we are nearly out of sets we will repeat this method for fall with the larger variety of cabbage using three rows of dill in each cabbage "bed" with no plantings of onions in-between.

Thanks to others for the pricing info.

Cheers!
