We just bought some used tractors and equipment and had a daily search trap set up on Craigslist (4 cities) - Ebay (sort by how close in distance) - Tractorhouse
Ironically, after months, the equipment we bought was from a guy who posted a flyer on the bulletin board at Tractor Supply.

I got a great education on equipment values. Months more than I wanted to be axact.

I think Growing For Market magazine has a Classifieds section.  That  would
be a pretty target-rich environment for small scale growers.  Or the  other
small-scale farming mags- Small Farm Today, Acres USA, and/or Small
Farmers Journal are just a few off the top of my head.  Regional ag  newspapers
might be another idea.  Out here (PNW) we've got the Capital  Press which has
a very busy classifieds section.  The upper Midwest must  have something
similar, with all the little farms out there.  If you were  closer I'd just
start negotiations directly.    :)

Hi:
Do folks have suggestions for selling farm equipment online besides
craig's list.
I have a bed former that just isn't going to fit our operation and I  don't
think there
are too many people in the Cinci area that will be interested...
Thanks,
