This is relatively new, having been introduced about a year ago. The
last action taken was in Dec '09, at which point it had made it through several
"elimination rounds" in the Senate and had been put on their General Orders
calendar for further consideration and discussion at some unspecified
time. To read all the official info about what it is, what stage it's at,

I believe our regional growers were emailed awhile back with info about a
call-in web conference scheduled sometime in May to go over the details of this
legislation. I'm planning to attend but at this point don't know if that
particular day's schedule will allow for a call-in. I'll try to remember
to go back in my email and see if this is in fact the same bill.
