-There are many good, excellent and reliable seed people for sunflowers. For
the best ornamental sunflowers look for pollenless and, I think,
non-branching varieties.
I buy from Fred Gloeckner, Harris, Germania, and Geo seed.. All of these
seed people have a presence on the web. The seed is sold in lg and small
quantities. Try the green centered ones for a hoot or the bi-color like
Joker or Red and Lemon Procut especially for fall sales. You can still plant
for this year if you use the 60 day varieties.

I have been reading this list for about a year and want to thank you for all
of the helpful information. I recently retired and have plans to
participate in a local farmer's market later this summer, but primarily next
year. This summer will be spent getting new garden areas growing and
learning more about growing at a larger scale. Compared to many of you, I
will always be a small scale producer.

My question: Who are good dealers of ornamental sunflower seeds at a
reasonable price? Thanks in advance for your help.
Mac
